Not milking in on local Markets

As more countries open their markets to different countries , local and bigger players in the hospitality industry  gain tremendously from the New emerging  markets. This conception is right but it has its biggest pit falls. The local tourist is left out of the market and only tapped into when the low season comes. Take for example Kenya. Beautiful beaches and tropical weather almost through out the year. Yet very little marketing is done to the local tourist. Africa being a very big continent will have a very big middle class market and the local tourist will be looking for somewhere to spend their hard earned money and if not in there country  it will be abroad or in another African country.
