“Where it all begins ” the famous country for its mummies and the pyramids has been going through a lot of political unrest. The tourism sector seems to be hit the hardest as tourist are not able to make their way into the country  and move around freely as  due to blocked roads and low security. Mr president Mohamed Moris had vowed to fight corruption , enhance security and  heal  the tourism sector in Egypt. 

Due to the political unrest the country GDP’s is   11.3 % which  has gone down over the years.A donation campaign was set up by the ministry of tourism to urge tourist to provide funds to  help  finish the Grand Egyptian museum. 

2.83 million people work in the hospitality industry in Egypt. These professionals might be hindered in terms to performing  their  duties as  the country continues to have more problems.
